MPKA Awards are an extra incentive that can be earned only by those students showing excellence in various categories. They cannot be earned with money; they must be earned with desire. These awards have nothing to do with your rank. You can be a very good student and Karateka and never earn an award. As you will discover, these awards are difficult to earn. They separate the super from the very good. These are the awards you can earn.... (Patch Location Chart)

The Reason for having so many patches, belts and awards to earn, was best said by Bruce Lee- “It is not the final destination that counts, it is the journey along the way that is important.” Any final goal, especially Black Belt, must be accomplished step by step. It is a learning process. A motivational experience, a character builder, and a journey filled with fun and excitement.
The time spent in the Martial Arts should be like no other time – it should be very special, filled with warm memories and personal development.
