Inception into Shoto Kan Karate on September 16, 1964.  Instructors were Master Jim Cook and the legendary Master Bob McPherson.

1965 - Outstanding competitor and teenage body builder

1967 - Won Maryland State Karate Championship

1969 - Received Black Belt under Master Jim Cook

1970 - Won Maryland State Karate Championship

1972 - International Karate Champion

1974 - Started United Air Force Full Contact Fighting Team

1980 - Black Belt under Grandmaster Han Young Kim - Blue Dragons T.K.D.

1981 - Hand speed calibrated at over 105 MPH

1994 - Won Maryland Bench Press Contest

                   Inducted into the Worlds Martial Arts Hall of Fame

                   Received the Lifetime Achievement Award

1997 - American Pioneer Award

1999 - Living Legend Award

2001 - Won World Championship in Forms and Weapons - AAA Tournaments

2002 - Received Doctorate Degree in Exercise Physiology

2003 - Kick-Boxing Lifetime Achievement Award in Europe

                   Training-Partner to the legendary World Heavy-Weight Kick-Boxing    Champion Grand Master Joe Lewis

2004 - Sports Martial Arts Living Legends
